My Vision

A website should be easy for anyone to maintain.

I want every small and medium business to be able to easily modify their website and be easy for people to edit, no matter your skill level.

When I say “I hope to never see you again!”, I say it with love.

Moving forward, you will probably want to manage your website yourself or consult another web designer as your business grows. I want it to be simple enough for anyone to pick up where I left off! No hard feelings.

During my time in the I.T. industry, I’ve identified cost as being a huge barrier to entry for small and medium businesses when it comes to starting your first website. It shouldn’t need to be so complicated!

My service is designed to be affordable and straightforward with the use of a questionnaire. Written by you, designed by me.

Our questionnaire will prompt you to provide the content that goes in to your website. Include files of your choosing if desired, or have me curate some stock images for you.

Are your websites made using templates?

Yes! And I’m not ashamed to admit that. My service is designed with efficiency and cost in mind. Your first website will be built upon a template that is easy for anyone else to edit down the track. I start your website with a template so that it takes me less time to complete your job. I will ensure that colours, fonts, pictures and media are unique to your brand.

Can I use a logo that Vulpine Design makes for me in other places?

If you request a free website logo as part of your package, I will create a royalty-free logo for your brand using resources such as Canva. You may use this image on your stationary or social media without recourse. However, if you wish to trademark or copyright your logo, it cannot be done with the royalty-free one provided by us.

What is WordPress Gutenberg editor?

Gutenberg is an extension of the WYSIWYG (what-you-see-is-what-you-get) editor that comes with WordPress. I design your website using this editor as I personally believe it is the most beginner-friendly way to edit and update your pages. Simply click “edit” to open the page editor, click the section you want to edit, and start typing! Gutenberg also comes with a drag-and-drop feature for adding and removing “blocks”, which are the sections of your page. You can try out Gutenberg using their demo here.

Can I make a custom request?

Of course! Head over to my contact page and fill out the form to open a conversation with me. Be sure to describe in as much detail the vision you have and what your priorities are. I will be honest and upfront about my confidence and ability to fill your request.

How can I edit my website after our relationship is over?

You will be provided with an aftercare guide that will detail how to log in to your website and make edits (see “What is WordPress Gutenberg editor?”). This guide will also have some self-help resources, as well as details on how to request a free revision.

What are revisions and how can I request one?

A revision will provide you with a free follow-up session within three months from when I’ve completed your website. This is especially useful for adding more information to your website, new pictures, change your menu or pricing, or if you’ve changed your mind on the colours I designed the website with. Depending on your package, you may request multiple revisions.
